Na 60 jaar is nog steeds hetzelfde percentage van de Palestijnse vluchtelingen afhankelijk van humanitaire hulp. Joden van over de hele wereld mogen allemaal "terugkeren" naar Israël, ook al hebben ze daar al 2000 jaar of langer niet gewoond. De verdreven Palestijnen krijgen echter geen recht op terugkeer, en moeten in hun door Israëlische militairen met geweld en repressie bezette en belegerde locaties blijven.
Dit abjecte beleid wordt gesteund en gefaciliteerd door het beschaafde Westen, en in Europa staat Nederland vooraan. Inmiddels schendt Israël meer VN-resoluties dan alle landen in de wereld bij elkaar. Dit onrecht heeft mij jaren geleden gegrepen en motiveert mij om hier te schrijven over de onmenselijkheid en hypocrisie van deze misdaad die nationaal en internationaal beleden wordt.
Als er iets uit deze documentaire duidelijk wordt is het wel dat de decennia lange roof, onrecht, moord, bezetting en onderdrukking tot niets anders kan leiden dan haat voor de bezetter, en voor zijn handlangers in zowel het Westen als het Midden-Oosten. Dat er nog steeds veel Palestijnen zijn die voorstander van vreedzaam verzet zijn mag een wonder genoemd worden, en het onderstreept het verlangen naar vrede en de veerkracht van het Palestijnse volk. Echter Israël, de Lunatic State, boort bij de Palestijnen uitsluitend de haat aan, omdat vrede de etnische zuivering van Eretz Israel in de war schopt. Daarnaast wordt veel verdiend in de militaire industrie, en ontvangt "de Joodse staat" van de VS o.a. 8,2 miljoen dollar per dag aan militaire hulp om de bezetting in stand te houden. Misdaad kweekt haat, no justice, no peace.
Sinds vorig jaar is er een campagne opgestart om zelfs het vreedzaam verzet van de Palestijnen en sympathisanten de criminaliseren. Het behoeft geen uitleg dat onze minister Uri Rosenthal knipt als een scheermes voor de orders van de Israëlische regering, en hij kort na zijn aanstelling aankondigde het "Israël-bashen" aan te gaan pakken. Een stalinistische aanpak.

Januari 2010 - Yearly figures published by B'Tselem showed that Israel demolished 86 homes across the West Bank in 2010, compared with 28 a year earlier. Last year's house demolitions left 472 people homeless, almost half of them children.

November 2010, al-Arakib, Zuid-Israël. This the seventh time that al-Arakib has been razed by Israeli Authorities. The village, which is located in the Negev desert, was first demolished in late June, but the police had to come back six more times to destroy it, after residents resistance managed to rebuilt their homes.
