Nederlandse verslaggeving over Syrië weer voorspelbaar

Wat weet de gemiddelde Nederlandse krantlezer over Syrië? Dat we de arme Syriërs moeten helpen in de strijd tegen het monsterlijke regime van president Assad - zo veel is duidelijk. Libië, het land ligt in puin, en er vinden nog steeds gevechten plaats om de macht tussen diverse militia - maar dat lezen we bij ons niet. Daarvoor hadden we de arme Afghanen die we niet in de steek mochten laten. En toen Irak geen massavernietigingswapens bleek te hebben, en niets met 9/11 noch met Al Qaida, moesten we het Iraakse volk bevrijden van de wrede dictator. Lees dus vooral geen Nederlands nieuws over Syrië.
