Obama: Israël zal uiteindelijk van Egypte profiteren

Obama is een charismatisch spreker, maar intussen is iedereen, zowel binnen de VS als daarbuiten, er nu wel van overtuigd dat zijn woorden niets waard zijn.

New York Times quotes U.S. president as saying that people should not fear changes taking place in the Middle East, says forces building in Egypt are forces that should align with U.S. and Israel.

U.S. President Barack Obama claimed Friday that Israel would ultimately benefit from the recent uprising in Egypt.

Speaking to a group of Democratic donors in Miami, the New York Times quoted Obama as saying, “All the forces that we see building in Egypt are the forces that should be naturally aligned with us. Should be aligned with Israel." (Haaretz)
